Hi,
I had the same issue like others regarding blocking pages. I've downloaded beta version 3.0.2_307. The issue with blocking page is gone, but I'm not able to download youtube video when manually put the link into tool. When I switch to on automatic detection of video - it works. But it takes a years to download the file. In past it was very fast.
Any hint?

Hi Walter,
Have you tried using any different browsers to capture from the site that requires a login? This often resolves failed capture issues.
If you'd like us to test it then you are welcome to supply your login details privately to support@jaksta.com, along with a link to the problem video.

the new Beta works fine now.
The only problem still is, that Jaksta Media Recorder can’t download videos from a website that needs a username and password to enter. If I key in those data, the video plays in the browser window, but Jaksta Media Recorder can’t download it.

Hi Liam,
in the meanwhile I deleted the old version of Jaksta Media Recorder and installed the Beta again, but the same problem during the installation process: Installation failed. The installation failed due to an error. Contact to the manufacturer of the software.

In a new forum post, could you please provide us with a link to some problem YouTube videos that you are experiencing this issue with, so that we can test them ourselves?

I commented 4 days ago and finally had time to try Jaksta Media Recorder again. No luck-same problem I had before. Running Monterey 12.2.1 and Jaksta 3.0.2 and it starts download and then all of a sudden the remaining time goes up and up and finally quits downloading. This was from YouTube and tried something from Facebook also.
Most interesting though is I opened my MacBook Air which is running 10.13.6 and Jaksta 2.2.6 and was able to download from YouTube and Facebook.

I installed the new beta version and it seems to work. The downloads are pretty slow, but that is not necessary caused by Jaksta. Need some time to figure that out. I'll let you know about the progress.

Tried uninstalling the old version with AppZapper and installed the beta-version after restarting my MacBook Pro. Nothing helps. No youtube clip allows to be downloaded and gives an error. Jaksta Media Recorder has become totally useless. The message I get you see in the attachment.
It's so annoying.
