Jaksta Media Recorder for Mac Start a new topic

Error (Error downloading fragment -1(couldn't resolve host name))

Hi there.


When I try to capture some video, I receive this error.


I'm using Safari in OSX Big Sur.

Jaksta Media Recorder version 3.0.0 (311)


It doesn't detect the video at all in Chrome.


The log file is attached.

Hi Coby,


Are you able to provide a link to the problem video so that we can test it? If it requires login credentials to access the content then can you provide them by sending them privately to support@jaksta.com, so long as you are comfortable with it?


And is this an issue that only occurs with a certain site/stream, or are you encountering this error in multiple instances?
