Downloads do not appear in the main window, but are downloading

Hi. For a few weeks now, when I open a stream, the notification will pop up (on an iMac) and then disappear. In the past, a matching file would show in the main Jaksta window, but is now blank, regardless of which tab is chosen (Everything, Today, Yesterday, In Progress). Have closed and opened the program several times, have rebooted, each with no success. The downloaded files do appear in Finder, but not in the Jaksta window. Please advise. Thanks.
I deleted the appdatabase.* files from a suggestion you sent a year ago when I had a different problem. That seemed to reset it and now it’s good to go. Thanks.
