The Delete operation is eligible for a stream that has the Downloading status. One would expect it to request a confirmation, terminate the recording, delete the file and remove the item from the list on the Home tab. For me, Delete rather works as Stop - after confirming the delete operation, the recording is "Cancelled", unnecessarily "Muxed" and "Tagged", after which it remains in the list and on the disk. If I issue a second Delete request, it again asks me to confirm, after which it removes the file from the list and from the disk.
I suggest you either make the Delete operation ineligible for on-going recordings or change it to work as expected.
