DVR browser Closes Jaksta when launched

I am trying to download a video that requires me to use the DVR Browser.  I attempted to launch the browser by clicking on the Camera Icon to open the Digital Video Recorder section.  I then proceeded to click on the World Icon which should launch the DVR browser... within a second maybe 2 the Jaksta Media Recorder 2024 Shuts down.  No sign of it in the task manager either.  Its as though the application just shut down when I tried to launch the DVR Browser.  Does anyone know if this will be fixed in the Jaksta Media Recorder 2025 that was supposed to be released today.  I have reloaded my PC and I tried it when nothing else installed and the application Closed as soon as I hit the DVR world icon.  I then tested the Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon located on the right of the DVR section.  When I click on any of those Jaksta Media Recorder immediately closes.  Is there anything I can do?  Is there a way to change the browser?

I just tested this on the new release 25.1.1 and it still closes.  Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

I appologize the release I installed after reloading my PC as a new PC so no previous configurations would cause problems is 2025.1.1.28.  As soon as I installed Jaksta Media Recorder I launched it and tested it and Jaksta Media Recorder Closed.  I tested it on my wife's Surface Pro and it worked as expected. the Vivaldi Browser came up.  However, her PC isn't equipped with a lot of Hard Drive space so it isn't ideal to install and register the application on her device. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I reviewed the logs and in the logs I am seeing the following:

2024-12-11 20:58:35,432 [1] ERROR do [(null)] - Program: Unhandled exception : System.AccessViolationException:Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

Is there anyone that can tell me how to resolve this?  I have never had any problems with my Memory and I am a big Gamer.  If there was a problem with my memory I would think I would experience it in other areas as well.  If someone knows how to open a support ticket to have this looked into let me know.  All I can find is opening a forum post which it doesn't look like they get looked at very often...  I am attaching the logs I pulled.  I replicated the issue at 20:58 on December 11th 2024.

Can you please check if you run Windows 10 or Windows 11 with Memory Integrity on? To find this setting, go to Windows Settings > Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Open Windows Security, then Device Security > Core Isolation > Core Isolation details. If you have Memory Integrity turned on during installation, the audio driver for DVR will not be installed and then JMR will crash if you attempt to start DVR.

Note: While Memory integrity is off, your system will be less secure. If you turn Memory integrity off, it cannot be turned on again until you remove the Jaksta driver.

I did validate Memory integrity is turned off

I uninstalled Jaksta and reinstalled it.  The same thing happened...  any other Ideas?

I'm just a user like yourself, so please excuse me if I'm leading you in the wrong direction, this was just the solution when I had the same symptoms. It may not be worth your time, at least the DVR feature wasn't of any use for me since in my testing it only managed 0,5 fps at 1080p resolution and that with a 100% busy CPU (it's from 2016 though). For me it was much better to just record the screen (for this I recommend ScreenMix in the Windows Store).

But to ensure that you really have the driver in place, please try to turn Memory integrity back on again, it will fail if the Jaksta driver is really installed, and the list of incompatible drivers will include the two in the screenshot. If you have any other result, try uninstalling Jaksta and then installing it again, keeping an eye open for driver-related error messages that may appear in windows behind the ones you see.

Like others have posted am having a problem with DVR Recorder not working when trying to use Media Recorder with the DVR browser.

Using most current JakstaDeluxe-2025.1.1.29 on up to date Windows 11 PC.

Deinstalled entire suite, turned off Memory Integrity in settings then reinstalled.

Same problem.

Deinstalled the suite, turned off Memory Integrity in another Windows 11 PC and reinstalled on that one.

Still having same problem.

On both PCs when selecting Media Recorder DVR browser appears to be starting then shuts down the Media Recorder app.

Memory Integrity was off during installation and when I tried to use the DVR Browser

Just to double-check, you did turn on Memory Integrity again with the product installed, and you got an error message similar to my screenshot posted above?

Cannot turn on Memory Integrity after install. Have 2 driver exceptions for jaksta_va.sys.

Same as your screenshot posted above.
