It doesn't look like you are using AUTO detection correctly. Looks like you are trying to use it with monitoring.
Monitoring does not use AUTO.
1. Stop Monitoring
2. Switch on AUTO detection
3. Open your browser and go to the page hosting the stream you want to detect and play it.
4. The stream will be detected and start downloading.
5. Once detected you can switch off AUTO detection
Apologies for the late response.
I tried the above method, but I receive this error:
Could you add this site to the extraction engine, so it can be used in monitoring?
can you provide debug logs please. Thx
Here it is
Please provide logs in debug mode as per https://www.jaksta.com/support/windows/technical/jaksta-media-recorder/how-to-generate-debug-logs-6000009063
OK, here it is
It is picking up the auto preview which happens when you mouse over any model.
This isnt really a video and is responding with a content-type which is commonly used for video streaming. The url they use is like https://sp5.wlresources.com/imgDl.php, where the host name can change.
You can ensure these urls do not pass through the HTTPS monitor, and are there for not detected, by adding *.wlresources.com, to Settings > Internet Downloads > Advanced > HTTPS > Do not pass the following through the HTTPS/SSL monitor
The error is gone, but I still cant record streams. Logs attached.
Looks like you were playing a youtube video at the same time as trying to capture from this site. Very hard to see what is going on in your logs because of that.
Please just provide logs showing you trying to capture from this one site, with out anything else going on. Ive checked again and it does capture here.
Here it is
Any updates?
Your logs dont show the stream starting.
1. Turn on monitoring
2. Open browser and go to page with stream on it and play the stream
3. If it is not detected it may be cached - hold the shift key down and click the reload page button of your browser. This will do a hard refresh and make the page request everything again, thus bypassing your browsers cache.
Here it is
You have the monitor and auto on at the same time. Please refer to my initial comment. AUTO is not for use with monitoring. Here it is again.
1. Stop Monitoring
2. Switch on AUTO detection
3. Open your browser and go to the page hosting the stream you want to detect and play it.
4. The stream will be detected and start downloading.
5. Once detected you can switch off AUTO detection
Support Migration
