Windows 10 Core Isolation - Memory Integrity is deactivated by jaksta_va.sys

When Jaksta Media Rcorder 7 is installed on Windows 10 version 2004 (build 19041.450), the Windows Defender>Device  security>Core isolation>Memory integrity feature gets turned off. When attempting to turn this on it fails and I am asked to resolve driver incompatibilities. There are 2 offending driver 1) jaksta_va.sys - Jaksta Technologies and 2) jaksta_va.sys - e2eSoft.

Can you help please? is there a way of resolving this issue? I would appreciate your assistance.

Nothing nefarious.  The driver is signed and co-signed by Microsoft.  Windows wouldn't let you install it if it wasnt.

As per my previous comments, because of the way the driver needs to work to capture data, memory integrity can not be turned on.

The driver is removed on uninstall, so if they are still showing then they must have been cached by the system and could not be removed from the system for some reason.

The following will let you remove it.

1. Uninstall all JMR

2.  Best free tool to clear up cached drivers is probably this one https://github.com/lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer/releases. Download and unzip.

3.  Run as Rapr.exe as admin.

4.  jaksta_va.inf will be under Sound, video and game controllers. Select it and the Delete drivers button

5.  Reboot
