The monitor uses the extraction method. This works fine here.
Does it work for you using the extraction method like the above?
If it doesnt then please provide debug logs as per

Support Migration
I can record streams from myfreecams.com using the AUTO functionalty, but when I try using the monitoring functionalty, nothing happens.
