Interested in buying JMR7, but having some issues with the trial and monitoring/recording youtube livestreams

Hi, I'm very interested in purchasing JMR7, since I'm really in need of a program to monitor and record youtube livestreams when I'm not at my computer.

I'm testing out the trial version of the program currently, and am having some issues with monitoring and recording a youtube livestream.  I'm not sure if I'm inputting the right URL to monitor, as the one I try, it keeps grabbing the first video on the channel.

For example, this channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRB4p_MKZdgZvDdnTfhYfJA, would I use that URL when setting up a new monitor?

Or https://www.youtube.com/c/FoundMyFitness/featured? Or https://www.youtube.com/c/FoundMyFitness/videos? Or https://www.youtube.com/c/FoundMyFitness? Should I remove the /c/ from the URLs?

I'm not sure which URL I need to monitor for livestreams, since I've tried on other channels that were currently livestreaming, and the monitor kept grabbing the first video on the channel and downloading that, while ignoring the livestream.  Am I doing something wrong here?  Is there some other URL for monitoring youtube livestreams?

I would appreciate any help and assistance, thank you.

The live stream monitor is for live streams so you need to enter the url for the live stream.  For example  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajABt8KCho8 is a live stream.

The live stream monitor is not intended to monitor youtube channels for new videos.  For channel monitoring use the the scheduler and create a scheduled to check once a day say.  See image below for an example of how you would configure it.

Ahh, ok.  Understood.  I'm currently testing out the monitor with a new URL structure, https://www.youtube.com/*channelURL*/live , and it seems to be doing what I need, which is keep an eye out when a channel goes live, and start recording.

One more question, is there a way to change the FPS of livestream recordings?

Youtube provide different qualities and formats that you can select from.

You can also use the built in converter that is automatically run on completed captures.  There are a bunch of presets, plus you can create your own.
