You will want the download method to be Extraction Engine URL, otherwise you will just download the webpage a that is a page not a media stream url. You will also want to select a preferred quality and format on Settings > Internet Downloads so that you don't get prompted as multiple streams will be detected.
I you press "Run Schedule", that will run the selected job right away, and the extraction will happen the the video will be captured. You can watch this on the Home screen.
The scheduler uses the windows Task Scheduler. If you open that you will see the task has been created. If there are any errors with starting the task you can see it in the Task Scheduler.
If you are still having issues then please provide debug logs.
Still not working. I checked the windows Task Scheduler and this was not added to its list. Is there something else I need to enable, maybe on the windows side?
I'm getting closer. I checked the windows system services to verify that task manager was indeed running. It was. However I then checked on its dependencies and one of them, "Natural Authentication", was not. I started it up and lo and behold now when I added a new scheduled recording it now showed up on the Task Scheduler list.
OK, it now seems to working. You might want to add a check to verify Task Manager and all of its dependencies are running. Thanks..
Natural Authentication service should be a triggered manual startup type. Anyway glad it is working now.
Support Migration
I'm trying to set up a scheduled for a Youtube video. I provide the URL for the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiZLFjbqDxQ) and specify
General:
- direct download by URL
- Stop Capture
- Normal URL
Schedule:
- Start time/date
This results in the attached scheduled text. I press "Run Schedule". However, at the specified time the recording does not start. Is there some step I'm missing?
