Thanks.
The registry values are:
AppInit_DLLs = C:\WINDOWS\Jaksta\AC\x86\jaudcap.dll
LoadAppInit_DLLs = 1
Is this as it should be?
Thanks again.
jaudcap.dll is injected into applications to extract audio from them when using the Application mode of the Audio Recorder features of Media Recorder, Music Record and Radio Recorder.
If you have reinstalled and are no longer getting that warning then the system is no doubt configured correctly for Application mode Audio Recording.
Those particular checks are looking at the following in the registry.
x86: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
x64: HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
AppInit_DLLs
LoadAppInit_DLLs
It is advisable to use the AxBrowser (which is an ActiveX connection to IE) for DVR recording Amazon videos. The correct settings should be set when launching from the Amazon Video short cut.
Support Migration
I got a message when opening Jaksta Media Recorder 7. It warned about "jaudcap.dll is not configured to be injected into x86 processes. x86 dll injection is switched off". It recommends to reinstall the app to reset the config.
I downloaded the new version (7.0.0.36) and installed it. Is this sufficient to correct the problem or do I need to uninstall the app and reinstall it fresh? Where can I look to verify the settings about this are corrected?
Also is it still advised to use "Ax browser" when DVR recording from Amazon videos or is this automatically set appropriately when using the Amazon Video shortcut icon?
Thank you for the help.
