youtube not working windows 10 Jaksta media recorder 6

Please provide debug logs as per https://support.jaksta.com/discussions/topics/6000009063  if your having issues along with the url of the video your are trying to capture.

Works fine in AUTO detect mode as well.  Please provide your debug logs and I can help you.

Your logs are not in debug mode. 

You need to switch on debug before switching on AUTO and then going to youtube.com and playing this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRkcgJofcCY

also turns on a proxy with no internet access so i have to disable the proxy before getting to youtube

Seems to be something wrong with the Microsoft Crypto API on your machine which is resulting in crypto key generation failing with "Key not valid for use in specified state".  

Just as you are experiencing, this means the HTTPS proxy/monitor wont work and HTTPS wont be detected.

Haven't seen that error before, but a google search shows this is not uncommon.  Here is a possible solution:  

1. Close JMR

2. Uninstall JMR completely

3. C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft.Note: These paths include hidden folders. To make hidden folders visible, see "Windows Tip - Show hidden files and folders"

4. Rename the Crypto folder as Crypto Old.

5. Reboot

6. Reinstall latest JMR and try again

i couldnt rename the crypto folder i kept getting an error, so i deleted jaksta 

created a new account on the laptop and done a fresh install of the client

also tried to rename the Crypto folder on the original  user account in safe mode and it wouldnt.

Sounds like you have hard drive issues if your getting "The parameter name is incorrect" when trying to rename a folder.

Also your install log shows invalid programs detected within the computers DotNet system.

 Check your hard drive for errors. Your event logs may show something.

Sorry the issues you are experiencing would not appear to be our software, just stopping it from functioning.  We do not create that Crypto folder.  That is an OS thing.  The error you are getting when trying to rename a folder is not a typical error you would see unless something was quite wrong.  Your logs also show invalid programs in the computers DotNet subsystem.  Please have a look in your event logs to see if there is something in there that helps you track it down.

Hi since the latest upgrade

i cant record youtube or thesun

done a fresh install

this comes up when trying to record a video from the sun on auto

youtube doesnt work either 

there the only 2 sites i use
