That is region protected and therefore I can't test unfortunately, but have you tried the DVR capture method to capture the subtitles?
Subtitles when stream capturing is something we are looking at implementing at the moment.
Excellent thanks!
Try this: http://downloads.jaksta.com/release/jak6/JMR6/6.0.1.38/JMR6-6.0.1.38.exe
Including subtitles can be switched on for sites that have vtt subtitles and that can be captured using the Video Page Extractor capture method - ie by entering the url of the page hosting the video in the textbox "Enter (or Drag and Drop) the URL of a video page to download", or are otherwise configured in the settings to use the Video Page Extractor when in Auto mode.
Settings > Internet Downloads > Advanced > Page Subtitles.
Settings should be self explanatory. Mouse over setting for help.
Note the link above only has Norwegian subtitles.
Tested with the link above and YouTube (subtitles and automatic subtitles) using VLC and JMP players.
Let me know how it goes.
Tried as you described. Only got an .mpg file with no embedded subitles and no .srt file...
Norwegian subtitles are available here for the link you provided and are downloaded with the settings you are using.
Please provide debug logs as per https://support.jaksta.com/discussions/topics/6000009063
Sorry for late reply - was travelling.
Anyway, log file attached + screendump. Doesn't look like yours...
Thanks for the logs. If you turn on Prompt for preferred quality and format does it find a subtitle then?
And does it work for the one you gave us the link to? https://tv.nrk.no/program/KOID24008514/pam-til-paris
Promt work, but when selecting format nothing happens...
As per the description at the top you need to double click the entry you want to download. Download will happen in the background on the Home tab.
Support Migration
I am downloading streaming TV from Norwegian NRK, e.g. via this link:
https://tv.nrk.no/serie/kampen-om-tungtvannet/KMTE40003113/sesong-1/episode-1
Subtitles (=Teksting) can be selected (small frame looking like a screen next to
the loudspeaker icon) can be turned on/off. However, regardless of what I try, Jaksta
will never record the subtitles.
Is this possible at all with this software? I know other (freeware) programs that do this
automatically, but they are not as user friendly as Jaksta....
