ICECAST (ICY) is a popular streaming protocol used by internet radio stations. In particular those using the SHOUTcast server from Nullsoft.
Shoutcast.com currently has over 600,000 internet radio stations that Replay Media Catcher can download.
Replay Media Catcher will detect music streamed using ICY and create another connection to download it. Where the server uses protection mechanisms such as one time urls that dont allow duplicate connections our products will automatically start recording the network stream to the browser.
